The pristine waters off Merimbula are the perfect place for whale watching. In the waters of the Sapphire Coast they can be seen lateral lunge feeding, one of the few places in the world where humpbacks can be observed doing this! A sight not to be missed.

Mothers and their young calves also provide hours of entertainment as they play in the Merimbula Bay.

This cruise departs daily from late August to November. During this time the Humpback whales are on their southern migration from the Queensland coast where they have calved back to Antarctica for the summer months. Other species of whales often sighted include Southern Right, Minke, Brydes and Blue whales. Common and Bottlenose Dolphins, Australian Fur Seals, Penguins and a large variety of sea birds can also be sighted.
