Visit the first Aboriginal mission in the territory at Hermannsburg Heritage Precinct. See the historic Lutheran mission buildings and enjoy the Hermannsburg Watercolour Gallery. Enjoy Hermannsburg’s infamous apple strudel and scones on the deck as you take in the beautiful surroundings. We stop at Simpsons Gap on the way home, and hopefully, we will be lucky enough to see rock wallabies for a photo opportunity. Why not finish off your day in thorough outback style, with an optional sunset camel ride that offers sweeping views across the MacDonnell Ranges.
