Tour Overview
​Today you’ll be up early to drive to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku – the Uluru sunrise viewing area. During the journey your experienced Driver Guide will share some history on the numerous sacred sites that you’ll pass along the way.
These stories form part of what is known to the local Anangu people as Tjukurpa – the foundation of Anangu life and culture. Tjukurpa encompasses Anangu religion, law and moral systems, the creation period and the relationship between people, plants, animals and the land.
The below itinerary can change due to cultural reasons, seasonal changes, operational logistics and accessibility.
Day 1
Outback Pioneer Hotel
Pick up from Ayers Rock Resort.
Uluru (Ayers Rock)
We head to Talinguru Nyakunytaku, the Uluru sunrise viewing area. Learn about the history on the numerous sacred sites that you pass along the way.
Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
You will be captivated by the view from the dunes as the sun rises over Uluru in the foreground.
Uluru (Ayers Rock)
We then witness first light as it gently embraces the desert landscape. Take advantage of the photo opportunities that this amazing experience provides.
Outback Pioneer Hotel
We then arrive back at Ayers Rock Resort.
*There is a $25 National Park Entry Fee per Adult/Concession, $12.50 per Child. It is valid for three consecutive days. You must carry your ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be required to purchase another one.
Please Note: Guests departing Ayers Rock on flight QF1940 will need to take all luggage with them as they will be taken straight to the airport at the conclusion of the tour. Contact us for more details.
