Three departures per day (9am, 11am and 1pm) means there is always a tour to suit your holiday itinerary. You can even enjoy a sleep-in before joining the 11 am departure which gives you 4 hours on the island.

Green Island is the only coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef to feature a rainforest. You will love relaxing and exploring the white sandy beach and array of soft corals and marine life in the shallow tropical waters. Snorkel or swim straight from the beach. Glass Bottom Boat and semi-submarine rides mean you can see the beautiful coral and tropical fish without getting wet. Experience the amazing underwater world with an introductory scuba dive or Seawalker helmet dive (both subject to passing a medical questionnaire). If you are looking for something a little different you also have the choice of taking a self Guided Walk along one of the many tracks leading through the National Park.

Activities for the kids include a tour of the”Big Cat’ Wheelhouse, membership to the Turtle Rescue Club, and a colouring in/activity sheet. Green Island is only a short cruise from Cairns making it the ideal destination for those who want to spend less time on a boat and more time exploring or relaxing on the island. You also have the option of flying to Green Island on a spectacular Scenic Helicopter Flight! Seeing Green Island and its surrounding reef systems from the air is a truly memorable experience. Hire of canoes, beach umbrellas, sun lounges, surf skis, beach volleyball gear, stand-up paddle boards, wet-suits and flotation aids can be arranged on the island.
