Tour Overview

The First Day of the tour is yours to explore or relax in this tropical paradise. Port Douglas is perfectly situated where two World Heritage Listed sites, the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest meet.

This relaxed seaside village is positioned at the end of a peninsula, surrounded by the calm waters of the harbour on one side and sandy stretch of the famous Four Mile Beach along with the other. Port Douglas offers plenty for you to see and do. On day two, your Northern Queensland adventure really begins! Journey through the rainforests and awe-inspiring landscapes of Cape Tribulation, located in the heart the Daintree National Park.

Visit the Mossman Gorge Gateway Centre and enjoy an indigenous presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people.

After, the tour continues to Mossman Gorge, where your Driver Guide will take you on a walk through this enchanting rainforest, sharing their knowledge of this ancient environment. Wind through the Alexandra Range and stop at a spectacular lookout for views of Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea before a Daintree River Cruise.

Aboard, you’ll learn about this pristine environment and its wildlife habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile. Next, the adventure of a lifetime awaits as you cruise to the Great Barrier Reef.

Journey to an underwater world that is a kaleidoscope of colour and brilliance on an Outer Great Barrier Reef Cruise to Agincourt Reef, located at the very edge of Australia’s Continental Shelf. Choose to dive, snorkel, or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semisub, just one metre underwater.

Departing from Cairns on the fourth day, the tour will journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway for a breathtaking ride over the Barron Gorge and through the ancient rainforest to the picturesque village of Kuranda. Upon arrival in Kuranda, it’s time to explore this fascinating village. The Heritage Markets operate 7 days a week and are full of colourful and interesting arts and crafts.

At the scheduled time, board the Skyrail Cableway and travel high above the canopy of the rainforest back to Cairns.

On the last days of your tour, there will be time to relax and unwind or discover any number of Cairns’ hidden gems. Take a stroll along the Esplanade or simply relax by the lagoon or in one of the many cafés. The Pier Marketplace overlooking Trinity bay offers a local shopping experience, home to a number of shops, bars and waterfront restaurants that create an exciting atmosphere. Come nightfall check out the night markets, a unique entertainment and shopping experience home to over 70 different stalls.
