Tour Overview

​Watch the sunrise at Uluṟu, then board your coach and travel around the base of Uluṟu. Continue to the beautiful Muṯitjulu Waterhole.

View Aboriginal rock art and learn about the area as your Driver Guide indicates native flora and fauna and explains the history of Uluṟu. Visit the Uluṟu – Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre to see locally-made arts and crafts.

Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Walk through Walpa Gorge and later witness Uluru at while sipping sparkling wine.

Make the climb to the rim of the Canyon, where you will be rewarded with marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Continue the 3 hour walk around the canyon with your Guide as you hear and learn about the geology and history of this amazing formation. Take a rest and a moment to enjoy the tranquillity of the ‘Garden of Eden’.

Alternatively, take the more leisurely 1½ hour walk along the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Enjoy the Desert Park where you will witness free-flying birds at the Nature Theatre presentation and see rare and endangered animals. Tour ‘The Alice’, including a visit to the historic Telegraph Station. Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the School of the Air. At the Alice Springs Reptile Centre you will see unique central Australian reptiles. Later enjoy panoramic views of Alice Springs and the ranges from the top of Anzac Hill.
