Travelling south you’ll stop to visit a camel farm for an optional Camel Ride (own expense) and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort.

This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and explore Walpa Gorge. Enjoy complimentary wine and canapés while watching the sunset at Uluru. Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre and Uluru alight.

After sunrise join your Driver Guide for a drive around the base of Uluru then travel to Mutitjulu Waterhole. Here view Aboriginal rock art and learn about the area as your Driver Guide indicates native flora and fauna and explains the history of Uluru.

Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see locally-made arts and crafts. Travel to Kings Canyon this afternoon. Join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness, sturdy shoes required). An easier walk along the boulder-strewn canyon floor is also available. Enjoy lunch at Kings Canyon Resort (own expense) before returning to Alice Springs.
