The 2 days /1-night tour is perfect for customers that are short of time but would like to visit Ayers Rock (Uluru) and the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) and enjoy 1-night camping in swags under the stars in the Outback.

Pickups are available from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Resort (Outback Pioneer) after 11:30 am (The tour can meet the following flights – Jetstar from Sydney, Jetstar from Melbourne, Virgin Australia from Sydney and Qantas from Cairns).

Day 1: Uluru Base Walk (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)

You will be picked up from either Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or the Outback Pioneer YHA (Ayers Rock Resort) from 12.00pm.

We then have Lunch and visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can learn about the Dreamtime, before starting your Uluru Base Walk. Take in the spiritual significance of Kantju Gorge, Mutitjulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave paintings before a guided Mala Walk before Sunset on Uluru, where we will have Dinner.

We will spend this night camping at the Ayers Rock Camp Ground in swags with hot showers and toilets. Basic Tents are also available on the day and these can be arranged with the tour guide.

Day 2: Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) (Meal: Breakfast)

Up early for Sunrise at the Uluru viewing area before heading to the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Your guide will explain about bush tucker and rock formations along the hike.

You can be dropped off at the Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) by 11.30am if you have a flight out on Day 2. We can also drop you off at the town of Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) if you want to spend another night at the Outback Pioneer (Ayers Rock).
