​The 10 Day Adelaide to Perth travels through the Southern Flinders Ranges, Flinders Ranges and onto the Eyre Peninsula. The tour then follows the coastline of the Great Australian Bight and crosses the Nullarbor into Western Australia and down to Cape le Grand.

After experiencing this awesome National Park the tour follows the South West coastline of Western Australia through Esperance, Cape le Grand, Albany, Denmark, Margaret River area before heading into Western Australia’s Capital City Perth!

The journey is approximately 4000 kilometres - An average days driving is about 400-500 kilometres.

Although the journey is the same as the Perth to Adelaide tour through the Nullarbor, this tour has a focus on the South West of Western Australia and experiencing this stunning coastline between Esperance, Albany and Margaret River area.

The landscape though this region is so diverse from the beautiful beaches and coastal walks of Cape Le Grand through to the Stirling Ranges, Tingle Trees and Kauri Forests and tall timber country on the way to Margaret River.

The Tree Top Walk, Fire Tree Lookout, Ngilgi Cave and a Koomal Dreaming Aboriginal Culture Experience add value to the natural beauty of this region.

Day 1

Depart from Adelaide.
Flinders Ranges
Flinders Ranges
Head to one of the oldest mountain ranges on earth; the Flinders Ranges.
Alligator Gorge
Alligator Gorge
Venture to the bottom of Alligator Gorge and walk through the narrows and onto the terraces formed from an ancient seadbed.
Warren Gorge

After lunch, we make our way along the eastern edge of the range towards Warren Gorge.
Quorn

We stop for a break in Quorn, home to the Pichi Pichi Railway.
Dutchman's Stern Conservation Park
Dutchman's Stern Conservation Park
We stop at Dutchman's Stern Conservation Park where we take the time to walk to the top of the range.
Warren Gorge

As the sun is setting, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Warren Gorge, and you may get the opportunity to see a Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby.
Day 2
Port Augusta

We pass through Port Augusta this morning.
Kimba

We stop for lunch at Kimba, and if you are lucky you might be able to spot the biggest galah you have ever seen.
Talia Caves

After lunch, we head for Talia Caves.
Venus Bay South Head Walk
Experience a walk across Venus Bay.
Lake Newland Sand Dunes
Lake Newland Sand Dunes
We then stop at the Lake Newland Sand dunes to go sandboarding.
Coodlie Park Farm Retreat
Coodlie Park Farm Retreat
This afternoon, we arrive at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat; a working farm with traditional cropping, sheep and a project of tree planting to offset carbon emissions.
Day 3
Baird Bay
Baird Bay
This morning we head out to swim with the ever cheeky and playful sea lions and dolphins at Baird Bay. For those not swimming, spend the day exploring Baird Bay.
Streaky Bay
Streaky Bay
After lunch, we head out to Streaky Bay for a photo moment with a replica of the biggest white shark ever found on the coast of Streaky Bay.
Nullarbor Plain
Nullarbor Plain
We then continue our journey to the true Nullarbor.
Day 4
Yalata Aboriginal Land
Yalata Aboriginal Land
Today we cross the dingo fence and head through the Yalata Aborginal lands. We stop to take a picture of the famous wombat, camel and kangaroo road sign.
Bunda Cliffs
Bunda Cliffs
We stop to take in the staggering sheer drop of the Bunda Cliffs where Australia suddenly and dramatically ends and drops into the ocean.
Eucla
Eucla
After lunch at the border, we travel to Eucla and see the way the desert can devour an entire town.
Nullarbor Plain

Tonight you get an IMAX sized version of the great southern night sky as we camp on the Nullarbor.
Day 5

Settle in for a big days drive across the plain, first stopping at Balladonia.
Norseman
Norseman
We then drive further towards Norseman, a small, sprawling town driven by mining and tourism.
Esperance

After lunch, we head to Esperence. The town is still remote but once you see the magnificent surrounds of the granite, bush and beach, you can only wonder for how much longer this area can keep its quaint charm.

Today we camp at Cape Le Grand National Park.
Day 6

Today we take in the spectacular Cape Le Grand National Park, with stunning blue seas and powder white beaches.
Recherche Archipelago
Recherche Archipelago
We stretch our legs with a coastal bush walk, giving us a great overview of the bays and beaches and stunning views to the islands of the Recherche Archipelago.
Day 7
Frenchman Peak
Frenchman Peak
We start our morning with a hike at Frenchmen's Peak, rewarding us with a stunning view.
Stirling Ranges
Stirling Ranges
After the hike, we head to the Stirling Ranges to explore the Central South/West of Western Australia.
Lucky Bay
Lucky Bay
We enjoy lunch at Lucky Bay and leave the rest of the day flexible as to which park we will visit depending on the time of the year and weather.

Tonight we camp on a private camping ground in the Stirling Ranges.
Day 8

Today we experience Albany, where nature has done its amazing best with sculpting the granite into incredibly formations.

We see the beauty of Natural Bridge and The Gap.
Valley of the Giants
Valley of the Giants
We experience the majesty of the forest in the Valley of the Giants and take a tree top walk through the canopy of these huge trees almost 60m up in the air.

We spend the night camping at Shannons National Park.
Day 9
The Diamond Tree
The Diamond Tree
Today we visit The Diamond tree for an early morning climb.
Margaret River
Margaret River
We then head towards the Margaret River region and its surrounding area.
Big Valley Camp Ground
Big Valley Camp Ground
Tonight we camp at Big Valley Camp Ground, listening to the Black Cockatoos and Kookaburras one last time.
Day 10

Today we make an early morning stop at the surfer's paradise of Yallingup.
Ngilgi Cave
Ngilgi Cave
We visit Ngilgi Caves, one of the big show caves of the region to get the low-down on the underground world.
Perth
Perth
As there are no formal activities planned, it is usual for the group to get together and reflect on the big journey together over a few drinks and a meal, before you spend the night in our pre booked accommodation.
