Embark on a day-tour and a chance to see and hand feed our family of wild dolphins as they come into shore for their nightly feed. Tailor the day to suit you, choose between sand tobogganing on the Desert Safari Tour, sea exploration on the Marine Discovery Tour, amazing underwater experiences by Snorkelling the Tangalooma Wrecks, extreme action on the Aussie Jet Boat Tour, all with Lunch inclusions ($20pp for Adult and $15pp for Child food voucher). You can also use the facilities at the resort, such as the beach area, pool and bar if you’d rather just relax. This day trip is ideal for families.Â

Marine Discovery Tour
Journey along the coastline in search of dolphins, dugongs, green sea turtles, sea cucumbers, rays and more! Our purpose built catamaran provides unobstructed views of Moreton Bay’s intriguing marine life. With full Eco commentary provided to explain the habitats and behaviours of our local marine creatures.
Desert Safari & Sandboarding Tour
Feel the need for speed? Take a journey to the Tangalooma Desert as part of this thrilling and bumping 4WD bus tour where getting there is half the fun. Guests will receive a unique look into the heart of Moreton Island and then participate in the exhilarating sport of Moreton Island sand tobogganing, reaching speeds of up to 40km per hour!
Wreck Snorkel Tour
The Wrecks are home to a large variety of different species of reef fish, coral formations and marine life. The Snorkel Tour is a much safer experience as you are taken to the wrecks by boat – so there is no need to battle the currents and swim there yourself. This tour includes a guide and all snorkel equipment included (wetsuits, fins/flippers, mask, snorkel, life jacket, pool noodles and prescription masks).
Jet Boat Tour
Got the need for speed? Enjoy speeds up to 80 km/h and adrenaline fueled action on board Tangalooma’s new Aussie Jet Boat with manoeuvres such as tail slides, figure 8’s, wave jumps and 360 degree spins. The comfortable 3 point harness system will keep you secured whilst we depart from the Tangalooma beachfront.

Dolphin Feeding
The highlight of any visit to Tangalooma is the opportunity to hand feed one of the wild bottlenose dolphins that visit the shores each evening at sunset. There is a large family of these playful dolphins that visit regularly, each with their own distinctive and unique personalities.
