Your trip to the Whitsundays isn’t complete until you’ve gone snorkelling. This is one of the most popular places in the world to get under the water, and it’s easy to see why. Boasting pristine tropical water, abundant marine life, and the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, whether you’re an expert or this is your first time wearing a snorkel, you’ll find it a perfect experience.

If you want to stay in the shallows, explore the harbours, bays and pontoons. Mantaray Bay is one of the best dive and snorkel sites with hard and soft corals and abundant marine life. For higher visibility and open water, head further out to the Outer Reef.
