Moreton Island is the world’s third latest sand island and it’s located right on Brisbane’s doorstep in the stunning Moreton Bay.

A short ferry ride from Queensland’s capital city will bring you to this protected national park where you can stroll on perfect beaches, swim in crystal clear waters, feed dolphins or kayak amongst the Tangalooma shipwrecks.

Treat yourself to an overnight stay and enjoy the beautiful sunset before eating dinner under the stars. For the more adventurous, there’s also snorkelling, diving and sand tobogganing.
